Stephenie danced at every opportunity. She took ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, hip hop, broadway, and finally swing, where she found her home. Swing dancing in college lead Stephenie to ballroom dancing and a world of opportunity. Under the tutelage of Kem Overby at the Asheville Ballroom, Stephenie competed in a college ballroom troupe and began a teaching career. Later she was recruited by Arthur Murray of Raleigh and trained with world champion coaches. She began teaching and competing along the east coast. Stephenie has taught students from 2 to 98 and believes to dance is to be!
