Cheerleading Camp - 2009 Summer Kids' Program

These camps are for children who want to learn how to be a cheerleader! They will learn basic cheerleading movements, cheers, chants, jumps, and two dances. On the last day of camp the parents are invited to come for a showing to see everything that the young cheerleaders have learned over the week.

For children with or without cheerleading experience.

**Fee includes a t-shirt for each student to take home.

Instructors:

Sara Hammond has a BA in dance from the University of Nebraska and eight years of teaching experience. She was on a competitive dance team for four years in High School and was Captain her senior year. Sara has four years experience teaching cheerleading camps.

Siedah Holmes has been dancing and cheerleading since the age of six. She was a cheerleader at Grimsley High School, A&T State University, and was a S. Professional cheerleader for the arena football team, "The Greensboro Revolutions." She has seven years of teaching experience.

Registration Information

Artistic Motion Dance programs are part of the Greensboro Day School Summer 2009 camps for kids. These classes are open to the public. Registration is managed by Greensboro Day School. Online registration is encouraged but paper applications are available by request at summer@greensboroday.org.
