Dance, Arts, and Tumbling Camp - 2009 Summer Kids' Program

This camp will get your child's creative juices flowing for the summer. Each student will learn creative movement, tumbling, stretching, and basic dance steps. We will create arts and crafts that will be used in different dances. On the last day we will have a short showing for the parents, thirty minutes before camp is over.

For boys and girls with dance experience as well as children who want to try dance for the first time.

**Fee includes a ballerina tutu for the girls and a t-shirt for the boys to take home.

Instructors:

Brandi Scott has a BA in Dance from UNC-Greensboro and eight years of teaching experience in dance. She has danced with Sidelong Dance Company of Winston Salem, X-Factor of Boone, and is currently working at Artistic Motion with ages 3-adult.

Lynn Angermeier has a BS in Education from the University of Texas, has 14 years of educational teaching experience (ten of those with Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten), and has been performing and taking dance classes for 10 years.

Registration Information

Artistic Motion Dance programs are part of the Greensboro Day School Summer 2009 camps for kids. These classes are open to the public. Registration is managed by Greensboro Day School. Online registration is encouraged but paper applications are available by request at summer@greensboroday.org.
