Exploring Hip-Hop & Jazz - 2009 Summer Kids' Program
This workshop will give students the chance to explore Hip-Hop and Modern in a fun and friendly atmosphere. This week we are going to let go of our inhibitions, challenge our habitual ways of moving, and find unique and creative ways to move our bodies! Comfortable, movable clothing is preferred.
For guys and girls with dance experience as well as students who want to try dance for the first time.

Instructor:
Siedah Holmes teaches youth and adult hip-hop. She studied dance from the age of six to eighteen at Beryl's Love Dance and Music Showcase and has taught classes there since 2002. She danced with Golden Delite, part of the A&T State University Marching Band, and while she was attaining her degree in Spanish, she studied Modern and Cultural dance. She has seven years of teaching experience.
Registration Information
Artistic Motion Dance programs are part of the Greensboro Day School Summer 2009 camps for kids. These classes are open to the public. Registration is managed by Greensboro Day School. Online registration is encouraged but paper applications are available by request at summer@greensboroday.org.
