Greensboro Summer Camps: The Sounds of Musicals

Does your child's singing around the house, especially to the most current hits of HSM, remind you of your own childhood fondness for the classics like The Sound of Music, Wizard of OZ and Annie? Then this camp sounds like the perfect opportunity to introduce them to the basic techniques of vocal and tone production, breathing exercises and demonstrations, using a repertoire selection from some of the most famous classical and current musicals. A time for visual art will be added daily to emphasize the music and musicals of the day. Parents are invited to an informal presentation of the students' work on Friday. No prior vocal training or musical experience required only a genuine interest and desire to learn and participate. Students will be encouraged to sing!

Fee includes an Artistic Motion t-shirt.

Artistic Motion is offering professional dance instruction in ballet, modern dance, musical theatre, and ballroom at our downtown studios this summer. Yoga classes are also part of our downtown summer programs. Dancers interested in professional ballet intensives are encouraged to apply for our special program with Rachael Brierley of the Royal Academy of Dance in London in August.
