Contemporary and Modern classes

Contemporary dance is a genre of dance performance that developed during the mid-twentieth century and has since grown to become one of the dominant genres for formally trained dancers throughout the world, with particularly strong popularity in the U.S. and Europe. Although originally informed by and borrowed from classical, modern, and jazz styles, it has since come to incorporate elements from many styles of dance. Due to its technical similarities, it is often perceived to be closely related to modern dance, ballet, and other classical concert dance styles.

The instructors at Artistic Motion are highly experienced and passionate about their craft, providing students with top-notch training in modern and contemporary dance techniques. They understand the nuances of these styles and are adept at helping students develop their skills and artistic expression.

Additionally, the school offers a diverse range of classes catering to different skill levels, from beginners to advanced dancers. This inclusivity fosters a supportive and nurturing environment where students can learn and grow at their own pace.

Artistic Motion prioritizes creativity and innovation in our curriculum, encouraging students to explore their unique artistic voices and experiment with choreography, pushing boundaries and challenging conventional norms in dance.
